Treaty relief requirements
Treaty relief requires: A valid Tax Residence Certificate (TRC) from the recipient's home tax authority, dated before the tax point. The recipient must be the beneficial owner of the income (not a conduit). The TRC must be submitted to FIRS via TaxPro-Max when remitting WHT.
