For Platforms
If your platform serves businesses — freelancers, contractors, marketplace sellers, gig workers, anyone — your users need accounting. The skills in this library encode the tax rules, verified by licensed accountants, and available for any AI agent or integration.
What platforms need
Multi-jurisdiction coverage
Your users are in different countries. Each country has different tax types, different forms, different deadlines. The skills cover a growing global library of jurisdictions — each verified by a licensed accountant in that jurisdiction.
Deterministic computation
The skills encode conservative defaults and deterministic logic. Same input, same output, every time. Not an LLM predicting what the answer looks like — codified rules with statute references.
Accountant verification
Every skill section is reviewed by a licensed practitioner. Their name, jurisdiction, and credentials are public. Verification is not a black box — it is attached to real people.
Open source
The skills are open-source markdown on GitHub. Clone the repo, integrate via API, or use the MCP server. No vendor lock-in, no proprietary black box.
How to integrate
OpenAccountants skills are designed to work in any AI agent or toolchain. There are several ways to integrate:
- Clone the GitHub repo and load skills directly into your AI agent or pipeline
- Use the MCP server for programmatic access to skills and QuickBooks integration
- Copy individual skills from the skill library and embed them in your application prompts
- Connect your accountants — have them verify the skills relevant to your users' jurisdictions
The skills are the knowledge. Your platform runs them. Licensed accountants verify the rules.
