I qualified as a Chartered Accountant from ICAP in 2016 and began my career in the audit and assurance teams of Top 6 audit firms, where I spent three years working on statutory audits, internal controls, and financial reporting reviews. Since then, I have been running my own practice, Ibrar Ali & Co., providing a full range of audit, tax, bookkeeping, and internal control review services to clients across Pakistan. My portfolio includes businesses from diverse sectors such as manufacturing, IT services, law firms, trading companies, HR and staffing firms, exporters/importers, and charitable organisations. Alongside my local practice, I also manage bookkeeping and accounting assignments for clients in Australia and the USA, giving me broad exposure to international reporting standards and cloud‑based accounting platforms. This combination of practice management, sector diversity, and hands‑on technical work has given me a strong, practical command of accounting, taxation, and financial management.
